Who we are

SSUMO is a trading name operated by Craig McGlinchey, 123b Agivey Road, Coleraine, BT51 4AY, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@ssumo.life.

What we collect

We keep data collection deliberately small. Depending on how you use the site, we may hold:

• Enquiry details you type in yourself: your name, venue or business name, email address, optional phone number and your message.
• The referring venue code from the QR code or link you arrived through, so we can tell which display sent you here.
• Standard technical information your browser sends with every request, such as IP address, device type and pages viewed, used in aggregate only.

How we use it

We use the information above only to:

• Reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a stand or a restock.
• Understand which venues and which products generate the most interest, so we can support those locations better.
• Keep the site secure and working correctly.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry, and we do not pass your details to the product manufacturer or to any other venue.

Legal basis and retention

Where you contact us about stocking SSUMO, we rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to respond to a business enquiry you initiated. Where you give us details for any other purpose, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation you started, then deleted. Aggregate, non-identifying scan and page statistics may be kept longer.

Who processes data for us

This website and its enquiry database are hosted by service providers acting on our instructions, and email is delivered by an email service provider. They process data only to run the service and are bound by contract. Some may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@ssumo.life and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), the UK supervisory authority.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us details, contact us and we will delete them.
